Albert Abraham Michelson (Strzelno, Poljska, 19. decembar 1852 – Pasadena, Kalifornija, 9. maj 1931) bio je američki fizičar poljskog porijekla. Poznat je po svojim radovima na mjerenju brzine svjetlosti.

Dobitnik je Nobelove nagrade za fiziku 1907. "za njegove optičke precizne instrumente i spektroskopska i metrološka istraživanja obavljena uz pomoć njih".[1][2]
